Tom Clark Rallying
Welcome to Tom Clark Rallying
He may only be 16 years old and not eligible to hold an RTA driving licence, but that hasn't stopped Tom Clark becoming the youngest UK rally driver to enter the Latvian rally scene and becoming the first ever MSA British Junior Autocross Champion all in the same year.
With six finishes out of seven starts in 2008, Tom, with female co-driver Aggie Foster, has become a firm favourite with the people of Latvia. A spectacular roll at the end of last year at the National Latvian Rally, whilst running first on one of the last stages, cost the pair their first class win; not a class for juniors, but for all competitors based on engine size.
Not content with just rallying, Tom wanted to fly the flag at home and give his British fans a taste of his natural flare for driving. Being too young to compete in rallying in this country, Autocross was the perfect solution. The rough, grassy fields gave Tom yet another challenge which he handled with great skill.
2009 will continue to see Tom rallying in Latvia. He has got off to a storming start now the car has been repaired. He has missed the beginning of the season due to that roll, but it hasn't knocked his confidence and he's looking forward to ending the season on a high.
