Live Updates from Pirelli International Rally 2011

30th April at 23:08

Due to visibility issues and trying out different tyre compounds, Tom dropped back to 10th, but picked up some valuable points, now we are 4th in the British championship, bring on the Jim Clark rally. Full rally write up to follow soon.

30th April at 16:47

ok Tom and Alistair have managed to pull themselves up to 10th by lunch time service but before they had even left they found out they had gained another two places. Tom Cave and Daniel Barry have had to end their rally early due to mechanical issues, Tom has left for the last 6 stages of the day.

30th April at 08:39

Tom and Alistair have left morning service and are heading to stage 3, Simon and Bryan are on their way to the 1st remote service

Team have just left house, going to the service area for 40 minute service then onto stage 3 and 4.

29th April at 23:19

Car has had a major boost in power but due to us not having any lamp pods and Tom not being able to see in the dark we are currently lying 13th overall but ready to claw it back tomorrow.

Rally is about to get underway, Tom and Alistair are ready, lets go and get stage 1 and 2 done

29th April at 5:30

Team have awaken, Tom and Alistair have left for RECCE and Simon, Dom and Bryan have made their way to the service park. 08.45 and the car is ready for scruiteneering and noise test, then we have to collect our 6 tyres from Pirelli and get the car filled up with fuel.

28th April at 21:49

At 17:00 the team formed at the service area, unloaded the car and prepared the RECCE car for tomorrow. 19:00 and the team have a well deserved drink and talk about the day ahead tomorrow, then Tom and Alistair get signed on for the rally then make their way to the pre rally meeting. Currently the team are settling in at the accommodation and having dinner.

28th April at 16:25

Alistair and Bryan have arrived at Carlisle, meanwhile Tom, Simon and Dom are still motoring, after catching traffic no more than 5 minutes from the door step we are currently on the A66 about an hour from Carlisle

28th April at 11:50

Tom, Dom and Simon have left Essex, meanwhile Alistair and Bryan are boarding a ferry from Belfast, the team are heading to Carlisle for the Pirelli International Rally, hopefully the team will meet up about 4pm as long as there is no traffic etc.
